Stubble & Co are a British company who strive to create durable backpacks and holdalls.

They’ve been on a journey to provide functional products made from responsible materials for everyday travel – whether that’s a daily hike or a commute to work.

Stubble & Co aim to combine design with performance to cater to the different needs of their customer base.

Their ultimate goal is redefine “stress-free travel” thanks to their range of backpacks and holdalls.

Stubble & Co say on their website that they have carefully considered the materials, compartments, straps and features.

There is a big sustainable element to what they do, from designing their bags using recycled-materials to offering an in-house repair service.

The Weekender – The Basics

The Weekender bag was created to provide those who like to travel with a carry-on sized holdall.

It was designed to provide sufficient space for short breaks and quick escapes whether you’re travelling by plane, train or car.

Their website suggests that the Weekender is ideal for overnight trips, daily commutes, weekend adventures, city excursions and more.

Stubble & Co used British Millerain Tekwax water-resistant canvas to create the bag.

It incorporates a 15″ laptop compartment and comes with a trolley sleeve to provide extra comfort when slung around your shoulders.

The Weekender is available in 40-litre and 60-litre capacities, with four colours to choose from.

The Fit, Feel And Style

The fit of the bag is good – it’s a good size and comfortable to wear. The carry on strap is a bit tight if your bag is full – so I wouldn’t overfill the Weekender bag.

The style is super classic and we really like the black colour.

It feels really sturdy with the quality materials and you can tell it’s a bag that’s going to hold up.

Price And Where To Buy

The Weekender bag is currently available to purchase for £165 (40L) and £185 (60L) on Stubble & Co’s official website.

What Are Customers Saying?

At the time of writing, Stubble & Co’s Weekender bag had 183 five-star reviews on their official website, with four four-star reviews and two three-star reviews.

Joe highlighted some of the features that he liked.

An excellent item with the additional space meaning that you can pack a full array of clothes and essentials. Light and comfortable to carry and very stylish features. A very good holdall.

John used the Weekender bag for a five-day trip – and it passed the test with flying colours.

Fantastic bag, looks and feels absolute quality. It was bought for a five-day trip to Vegas and it still had loads of room spare! I think I could get a week out of this, although it does become very heavy on the shoulder.

Sarah described the Weekender as a “practical and stylish” bag.

I’d been looking for a bag that was classic but not dull, hard wearing/great quality, practical and stylish. This bag ticks all boxes. as a female 5ft 4, I was worried it would be too big for me, but even though it’s large, it’s still fine to handle.

Our Verdict

Overall, for the price point, it’s a very solid option. It looks nice and does what it needs to do.

It’s strong and will hold up over time but I feel there are some tweaks that could be made to improve the overall performance.

I really appreciated the inner compartments where I could safely store smaller items, such as laptop pocket. You can’t fit a large laptop but a regular size should fit snugly.

When the bag isn’t too full and you use the strap, it fits really nicely onto a suitcase so you don’t have to worry about it falling off or toppling your suitcase.

We also really like Stubble & Co with regards to the materials used in their bags and overall eco-friendly approach to their business.

Anything Else To Consider?

Stubble & Co have a 90-day return policy. Here’s some more information taken from their website:

“We want you to be happy with the quality, look and functionality of your Stubble & Co bag. If you’re not happy for any reason, you can return your bag for a full refund. We have an extended returns period of 90 days.

“Returned bags must be in unused condition. We can’t accept a return if it arrives used, or damaged due to improper packaging. Preferably return in the original shipping box.”

Be sure to carefully check the returns, refunds and exchanges policy on the site you’re shopping from, as the details may change from time to time and differ from what’s shown above.
